Saint Maria Goretti 925 Oxidized Sterling Silver Necklace for Men
Saint Maria Goretti is the patron saint of rape and crime victims, teenage girls, and modern youth.
One of the youngest saints ever to be canonised, Maria Goretti died when she was only eleven years old. A child of Italian farmers, Maria was working in the field when the neighbour's twenty-one year old son made sexual advances upon her. Angered by her refusals, he stabbed her fourteen times. Dying in the hospital, Maria used her last words to forgive him. When he was released from prison almost thirty years later, he became a lay brother in a monastery.
With this medal you will always have the power to forgive even the worst in other people.
